SHERIFF'S MESSAGE

It is my honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Taliaferro County. Since I took office in 2001, we have seen many changes and continued growth, including a new law enforcement center, the implementation of Enhanced 911 services, the establishment of a K9 unit and the addition of up-to-date patrol units.

Truly the county you and I love so dearly is one of the best in the state, the perfect place to live, work and raise a family. That is why I will continue to have highly-trained employees to provide our residents with the best possible service, using all the resources we have in a courteous and professional manner.

Our office is organized into four divisions, Uniform Patrol, Investigations, Traffic/K9 and Communications. Every employee is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to our residents, our visitors and the thousands of people who pass through our county every day.
